Well, I'm new to DA. I started drawing again today and decided "Hey let's make an account!" so maybe this'll boost up my manga drawing skills and/or motivation. High five!

Let me start by introducing myself.

Hello. I'm Aoi. I'm fifteen years old, and I was born on March 14, 1993. I live in New York, and I'm happy with it. I have a lot of friends that I really care about, and obviously, family members that I really love. For the twenty-milionth time, I'm not emo. I'm not "punk" "goth" "Gothic" whatever the fuck you feel the need to call me, I'm not that. Try HUMAN for once. I'm not emo. I'm a happy human being that lives life to its fullest. Gonna tell me I'm not? Fuck your couch, then. I don't care about people that are going to go off telling ME who I am. Kay thanks. I listen to craploads of rock. My favorite bands right now, are Saosin, Escape the Fate, Blessthefall, LM.C, Chiodos, Bullet For My Valentine, Hopes Die Last, Funeral For A Friend, Circa Survive, and Placebo. My eyes are naturally hazel, so for like the millionth time, stop asking me if I wear contacts. I have perfectly fine vision.


Yes, my hair colour is my natural hair colour. I've never dyed my hair, and frankly, I don't plan on it. I'm not going to dye my hair fire-engine red, like all these stupid little girls have been dying their hair lately. I think it's fucking pathetic to walk around with that hideous tone of red. It obviously looks fake, and it looks pathetic. I'd understand highlights with an odd colour, but going for your whole head, just... no. There's certain people that can pull off dying their whole head a different colour, but for the most part, you just look plain ridiculous. And if you're reading this and you're a little ghetto kid with "sexy mami" or whatever like that on your screenname, and red-ass hair, don't get offended. And if you do, newsflash, your hair isn't all that cracked up like it seemed. I have an opinion and you have yours. I don't care about your opinion, I care about mine. I never get offended by what any little asshole has to say. Why? Because I'm a human, and everyone's been talked about atleast once in their life. Speaking of human being, I suggest you fucking treat me like one. I'm not perfect. "Oh your hair's so cooool! I love your eyeliner you look so cooooool!" Okay, thanks. Those compliments are really cute, but that doesn't mean I'm not just like you. Stop treating me like someone greater than you. I make mistakes, I'm not always right. I have friends and family. I'm just like you.
